Proud to cook in Groveton

Groveton grew up around a sawmill in 1882 and took the county seat the same year. When the mill shut down at the end of 1930, the town stayed. The timber came back, the forest came back, and Groveton is still here at the crossroads of 287 and 94: the seat of Trinity County and the front door to the Davy Crockett National Forest. This is a town that knows how to work and how to look after its own. We're proud to cook here.

The Ranch is owned by T.J. and Amber Hilsher, native Texans who grew up outside Houston and chose Groveton on purpose. They moved here, built their home here, and found a community that shows up for its neighbors. Giving back and lending a hand are how they live, and The Ranch is built the same way: a place for Groveton, run by people who love it.
